Basin-wide Computer Groundwater Flow Model

Paul Juckem, Dan Lynch, Lisa Conley, Joe Dorava, Cindy Arbiture, Suzanne Wade, and Paul Moderacki were all key players in developing the groundwater-flow model for the Rock River Basin.

We are excited to announce the creation of a basin-wide computer Groundwater Flow model. The model, created with a program called GFLOW, was developed to help communities businesses and land use planners understand groundwater flow in their communities. The model was developed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the Rock River Coalition.
